It was a bang up NaNoWriMo job and I'm looking forward to Cape Grace. The culture is simply fascinating.

This story was a big challenge for me because it was done during the November National Novel Writers month. It was one of those "darn, I REALLY need to get a book out!" situations and -- with a bit of luck I got it written, recorded and uploaded onto Podiobooks in just 7 weeks.

It's a longer book than the Traders's Tales - at just under 100k words (they're each around 85k) and I wanted to do something that was different from Ishmael. Originally it was going to be the prequel to Half Share and end when Sarah joined the crew. In my zeal, I went back too far and started with her dad. In hindsight, that was good. It means I need less plotonium to patch together Cape Grace.

Thanks for another very complimentary review, Gem. :)
