In the podosphere

   Posted by: Gemini   in Podcasting

JC Hutchins is up to his old tricks.  His 7th Son story for cell phones is live, you can find all you need to know about it here.  He also has an interview up called Tea and Chat where he’s the interviewed party.  Check it out, you know you’re in good hands with Hutchins, he only cliffhangers you.

Then again, lately, so does every podcaster out there.

Speaking of cliffhangering have you been listening to Morevi?  Tee Morris’ Morevi Remastered delves into the covers of the book he wrote with Lisa Lee.  He’s got an awesome cast that features Philippa Ballantine as Queen Askana and himself as Captain Rafe Rafton.  Supporting cast is as wonderful as the leads with Christiana Ellis, George Hrab, John Cmar and lots of others rounding out the story.  He’s also been cliffhanging a lot as the chapters sometimes bleed into two or three episodes.  No complaints here, just means more Morevi.

My primary podcast focus for the moment has been Joe Cottonwood’s Clear Heart.  I’m catching it in snips and stolen moments, making it a longer listen, but it’s been worth it.  The story is character driven and revolves around a carpenter and his employees and friends.  Lots of different characters, each one as important as the rest while the story comes together.  Give it a listen, it’s worth it and just as good as the “big names of podcasting.”  I’ll get a real review of it up as soon as I get it finished, but let’s just say this story has a permanent place on my playlist.

That’s all I have today and I’ll try and get something that actually looks like a review up in the future.  Things have just been… hectic.  So, for now, remember, if you have time to waste, waste it well.

Loving the new look for the blog and thank you, as always, for the kind words and reviews. This reminds me — I got to get cracking on Chapter 14.
