Tidbits of Time Well Wasted

Posted by: Gemini   in Around the Interwebs, Podcasting

I’m working on my review of Obsidian 15 at the moment but I didn’t want to leave you hanging, so I have some quick bites for you.

Morevi Remastered Chapter 14 has been seen in the wild… and there was much rejoicing.

Scott Sigler’s AMC - Monsterfest entry for the week is up and it’s rather terrifying on a mental level as he discusses and breaks down Horror Musicals.  Yes, you read that right, leave it to the Future Dark Overlord to know that which terrifies us.

While we’re on the AMC blogs I am in total agreement with John Scalzi.  Give Ridley Scott an Oscar already!!  The man has done so much for the movie industry, hell for Sci-Fi alone, with some of the films he’s directed and produced.  Let us not forget that this is the man ultimately responsible for bringing us Alien and Blade Runner.  I think the only thing in this article I disagree with is his look at Legend, but y’all know how much I adore Darkness.

Reporting on podcasting kind of means I have to follow podiobooks, which I do, and Evo Terra nailed this one on the head.  He makes some excellent points on audiobooks and the commentary in the comments is just as meaningful and interesting as the article itself.  If you listen to podio or audio books then it’s worth a few minutes of your time to read.

TV Squad has an interesting article this morning regarding Babylon 5.  If you’re a fan of the show and the subsequent films, check it out.  I’m of the opinion that I’d rather see Crusade finished, particularly since my favorite character from B5 is no more due to the death of Andreas Katsulas.  Don’t even try and tell me that another actor or archival footage would work for G’kar.

Oh! And either Evo or Nathan Lowell loves us because every episode of Double Share is available.  I know what I’m listening to later!

And before I forget, especially since I’d rather not have a certain Dark Goddess haunting my dreams, there’s still 23 days to collect pennies for the Double Trouble chart rushing on Amazon.com.
