Interviews, interview, interviews. Double Trouble is kicking it hardcore around the podiosphere with interviews everywhere. They’ve can be heard on Creative Adventures, UltraCreatives, ScreenGeeks, Erk Pod, and Friday Night Live with Monty (please note some of these may ask you to download the interview). And I’m still trying to catch up with the earlier interviews. Eeek! Whether or not you choose to check out the interviews you can still check out the PDFs of Digital Magic by Philippa Ballantine and The Case of the Pitcher’s Pendant: A Billibub Baddings Mystery by Tee Morris and pick up your copies of both on August 8, 2008 on Amazon.com at 8 AM PST.
Speaking of Philippa Ballantine she released Chasing the Bard Chapter 19 into the wild earlier this week. For those of you who don’t know, this is the prequel to Digital Magic. Chasing the Bard is a great story and there’s an excellent cast involved, I hope you’ll take a listen.
Have you tuned into Krakens Quest yet? Poor Tee Morris is being led by the nose by his stolen jersey and this week the Kraken thief even made him eat snails, or French Sushi as Tee called it. Poor man, I hope he gets his jersey back at DragonCon.
Indiana Jim e-mailed me something most excellent! On August 30th he is premiering a Star Wars Audio Drama called Codename Starkeeper. You can find all the details here, including an awesome cast listing. Considering I enjoy Jim’s work and I see the name Corran Horn in the character list, you can count on me tuning in.
Metamor City – Making the Cut is on hiatus for a bit. Chris Lester has been spending the week crossing the country to California. And it suddenly occurs to me that Chris, Scott Sigler and Seth Harwood are going to be relatively close in proximity of one another…for some reason this terrifies me. My terrors aside you can check out Episode 23 while I take advantage of this pause and get caught up.
JC Hutchins release Obsidian 19 this week. I haven’t dug into it just yet, but you can expect lots of goodness from the Obsidian world coming up in reviews this Friday. It’s making me sad that this experiment in podcasting will be coming to an end next month and I’m anxious to see what JC has up his sleeve next.
Edward G. Talbot tells me that the second part of New World Orders is beginning this week. I know Nick has turned into this one and I’ve got some serious catch up to do. I’m hearing everywhere how excellent this story is.
If you haven’t seen the news from the FDO Scott Sigler then it behooves me to tell you there’s a delay on Nocturnal. Scott is dealing with some serious family issues. His last blog entry said he would be home tomorrow and would try to give us an update. I want only to say that our prayers, thoughts and good wishes are with him and his family and remind him that his fans will be waiting when things are calm enough for him to return to the podcasting.
That’s what I have this week. If you’d like to be included you can DM me on Twitter or send me the details about your podcast and what you have upcoming or have released via e-mail to reviews@timeww.com. Until next week, remember, if you’re going to waste time, waste it well.
