Dr. Floyd and the Blackout

   Posted by: Gemini   in Podcasting

Okay, I think I’ve been missing an important podcast.  I wasn’t expecting to laugh my ass off at an Obsidian story when Obsidian 19 hit my podcatcher, and that’s just what I did.  Considering I desperately need this laugh, I can’t express my thanks enough.

For all that this episode, brought to you by The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd, is roll on the floor and laugh your ass off amusing, it fits.  Somehow it fits into the whole story of the blackout and they make it plausible.  They come up with ideas on how to produce electricity to power iPods and microphones.

It’s less than four minutes long, takes just a few minutes to listen to, and will brighten a day with the subtle nods to the original 7th Son trilogy.  To sum it up in a word; Fantastic.

As short as this is I really can’t get into an in-depth review, and I feel like I’m missing something because I’ve not listened to Dr. Floyd in the past.  I do know I’m tuning in as soon as I can, especially since I’m curious about this super secret decoder ring thing.

Run, don’t walk, to this Obsidian episode and enjoy it for yourself.
