What is Time Well Wasted all about?

Primarily it’s a focus on the things in life that eat away chunks of our time without even noticing that hours have passed without our knowledge. These tend to fall media subjects…Movies, Games, Podcasts, etc.

While there is a focus on anything that was created before the current year, every now and again there will be something current that pops up, something that was so good it had to be discussed.

Being a huge fan of movies, and often being called a resource of useless movie trivia by friends and family, starting a blog on it just sounded like fun. Being open-minded, I had to include all kinds of different time wasters that were media based.

Established in February 2007 and off to a decent start, finding fun in writing up new things and hoping to help people discover older films and other pleasures of time wasting. Posting became sporadic however until it looked like TWW faded off the map completely.

It was, admittedly, a silly little post I read about an American Gladiators Drinking Game written by Wil Wheaton over on his own blog that got TWW back into business. The game was just so silly and so fitting it had to be talked about more, so the site was dusted off and set back up on the shelf.

We update at least 5 days a week with various media adventures for spending your lazy days with. We use a 1 to 5 penguin rating system for reviews.

After all, if you’re going to waste time you should do it well.
